We’ve tested them all. Seventh Generation, Mrs. Meyers, Earth Friendly, Ecover, and Eco Discoveries to name a few. We were finally introduced to Better Life’s line of cleaning products after two years of experimenting.
Before, we had been using Mrs. Meyers All-Purpose for a lot of our cleaning needs and loved the results. Our clients loved the smell, though some complained they weren’t “green” enough. So, I kept researching. Then, after picking up Real Simple magazine’s issue dedicated to “Speed Cleaning”, I noticed Better Life was ranked one of the top green cleaners on the market. I immediately called and ordered samples and sent them out in the field. Within a week our clients noticed a difference and called to rave about how clean their houses were. The clean fresh scent that Meyers provided was missed a little, but Better Life has their own fresh scent people easily accepted. And when you’re comparing products, make sure you are choosing products that disclose all of their ingredients. Better Life has this wonderful comparison chart to help you. Take a look at the row for synthetic fragrance, VOC’s and other chemicals; then look at which “green” cleaners contain them. This makes me happy that we’ve switched from Meyers!
